Getting in the festive mood also requires our environment to look festive. A pretty door decor, a lovely shop window makes everyone feel good.
We would like to invite the residents and shop tenants of the second district to contribute to the festive atmosphere of their neighbourhoods by providing their own Christmas decorations.
Make your own Christmas decoration for your gate, door, fence, garden, facade, window or shop window. Take a picture of it and send us the photo between 28th November and Christmas.
Please share the news with your street neighbours, friends in the district or local shop owners. Please print this call and place it visibly in the street to inform others, too.
Be inspired by others’ decorations. See how people who live or work in the second district have made their neighbourhoods beautiful for Christmas.

Your contribution can be any festive decoration made for outdoors for the public to see. Buildings that line up along a street may have decors over their entrances or on the facades, houses with front gardens can have decoration on their gates and fences, shops and offices may dress up their shop windows.

We wish to adorn our district for the festive season together and provide ideas and inspiration for others.
There is no ranking, neither prize for the contributors. Everyone joins for their own pleasure.

We are devoted citizens of our beloved Second District of Budapest. We have all been living here for decades and we are keen to make our neighbourhood an attractive and pretty place to live.
People dress their souls and living environment beautiful when it comes to Christmas. We would like to do the same with our neighbourhood, therefore, we wish to invite all our district neighbours, living close by or farther away, to join us in making the district beautiful for the festive season.
